March 2008 Seminar Schedule Announced
Federal Construction Contracting
How to Successfully Respond to a Request for Proposals
Las Vegas - Dallas - Philadelphia - Savannah - New Orleans
The seminar will focus on the requirements of contracting by negotiation and "best value" procurement, where awards are not always made to the lowest offeror. There are important things that every construction contractor must know about RFP procedures in order to put together an effective and winning proposal. We cannot help you to estimate the project or to devise your technical approach, but we can help you make sure that an otherwise successful proposal is not rejected because of a failure to understand how to address the evaluation factors. Understanding the process is very important, and our seminar will show you how to avoid the most common pitfalls.
Each person who attends the seminar will receive written materials, and a CD-Rom containing valuable information on the RFP process. As an added bonus, we will also address the new Ethics in Government Contracting that went into effect on December 24, 2007 and that every contractor must understand. The seminar will be presented in Las Vegas on March 13th; Dallas on March 18th; Philadelphia on March 20th; Savannah on March 25th; and New Orleans on March 27th.
Please see our seminar brochure for more information, and please use the attached Registration Form to sign up for one of the seminars. The seminar fee is $225, and additional persons from the same company are $125 per person. Please register early since space is limited.
Registration forms may be faxed to 215-542-2779.
